I guess it’s not really a judgment… but I do like to entertain myself. If I find myself waiting in the check-out line, I take a look at what everyone else is buying. I imagine what each person’s life is like. “OMG… she must have 800 kids.” “He’s having poker night.” “She’s making dinner for her boyfriend for the first time.” That sort of thing.
On my way to work this morning, I stopped at the store for a few necessities. I went at 6:30 a.m. to avoid the droves of men who would be buying flowers for their valentines after work. Guess what? There were still lots of men buying flowers that early in the morning. LOL I pictured most were dropping flowers off for a girlfriend on their way to work… or taking flowers for their assistants. Then there was the dude in his pj pants. Did he wake up thinking, “Sh*t… I forgot!” Or did he sneak out to get flowers to surprise her when she woke up… with pancakes and strawberries?
Since I think these things, I can only imagine others do the same to me. I looked at what I was buying… Diet Coke, cough drops, cough medicine (one for night and one for day), and candy. What were they assuming about me? “Man, she’s really sick.” Or, “She’s single and staying that way.” LOL
Or am I the only one who thinks like this?
Laughing so hard, I just might pee...
